Mission Statement

This Park Association was started a number of years ago by some forward-thinking township residents who saw a need for recreational activities within our community. Their hard work led to the creation of that Association, and subsequently saw it come to be recognized by Pennsylvania as a 501 C (3) non-profit organization. That designation itself is worth its weight in gold, as with the current laws in the Commonwealth it is next to impossible to meet criteria for such a designation.

We have a rare organization in place to raise money for our parks without the township needing to make financial contributions, and one that can offer attractive, legal tax breaks to individuals and corporations seeking to make donations towards building our parks into places where children, adults, and seniors can enjoy various recreational and social activities.

We are in the process of developing a  master site plan in place, so we have a "blueprint" for developing what is now basically raw land into areas where families can enjoy their free time and will allow us to once again rediscover the sense of community that is our local heritage.

We need your help! Though a survey was taken when the Association was founded and we still have the data from it, we are looking for input from you as to what you'd like to see. Many ideas have been proposed; for instance a walking trail, soccer fields, a playground, more picnic shelters and tables, a gazebo big enough for concerts from small groups of musicians, and even a senior center. The possibilities are as big or as small as we make them!

Please support Pulaski Township Recreational Park, Inc. in any way you can, even if it's only with kind words and a positive attitude. Everybody wins with projects like this!

We are looking forward to great things over the years to come for recreational activities in Pulaski Township.

Thank You,
