April 2007 Newsletter

The next meetings of the New Bedford Lions Club will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd, and Wednesday May 16th. 7pm sharp! The May 2nd meeting will be held at Lion Harry Cornmans house. The May 16th meeting will be held at the Clubhouse. The club hasnít been too busy the last couple of months. But we have still donated a lot of money to different charities. Our Calendar fundraiser is still on. So if you still have some calendars, keep selling them. Remember we pay retro active on them. Our club has sold 100 dozen Mothers Day Roses. Good job by everybody! By the time you receive this newsletter hopefully Spring has finally arrived! Time to start cutting grass again, we all know how much fun that is! At our past meeting we had a program, DVD viewing of Campaign Sight First II. A very interesting video that we watched. And shows how important Lions Club Intíl is to the World in the Fight for Sight. We need to remember that is why we are here. ďWe ServeĒ.
