Pulaski Township Past and Present Present We are a small rural community in Western Pennsylvania about one hour North of Pittsburgh, PA. 35 minutes East of Youngstown, OH, 20 minutes West of New Castle, PA, 20 minutes south of Sharon, PA. and one hour South of Erie, PA. We have a small population of extremely nice folks, very little crime and light traffic on our township streets. But you do have to watch out for occasional Amish buggy, tractor or wild animal. We have 3 villages in Pulaski Township. New Bedford, Pulaski and Frizzleburg. New Bedford has a US Post Office, a few local businesses and stores near by. Pulaski has a US Post Office, store/gas station, a few local businesses and Pulaski Township's industry, Lane Fabricating, Young Galvanizing and Rg Steel Corporation. Frizzleburg has nothing, but use to in days gone bye. It was also named Freedom and Marr. And do not blink as you have just gone through it.

An example of the locks, used on the canal. To my knowledge none still exist on the Shenango River in Pulaski Township. This picture was taken below Beaver Creek State Park in Ohio so it probably is still there. (Be careful canoeing Beaver Creek, under certain stages it is Class III Whitewater and could be dangerous!) (on Beaver Creek in Ohio)
